Privacy and Cookies Policy
This policy explains how Clyra Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal information when you use our website or contact us, and it explains your rights. We are the data controller responsible for your information.
Who we are
Clyra Group provides roofing and construction services across Dorset and Hampshire and the surrounding towns.
You can contact us about this policy or about your personal information here:

The information we collect
When you fill in an enquiry form on our website, we collect the details you choose to give us. This can include your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you are interested in and the message you send us. To submit the form you must provide your name, a message, and either a phone number or an email address so that we can reply. Your postcode, the service you select, and whichever of phone or email you do not use to contact us, are optional.
Our website also records the page the enquiry was sent from and the date and time it was submitted, and it stores the sending device IP address. The IP address is kept only to help us identify and prevent spam submissions.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.
How we use your information, and our lawful basis
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote, to arrange and carry out any work you ask us to do, to keep a record of enquiries so we can follow them up and manage our business, and to protect the website against spam and misuse.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and, where you are asking us to quote or carry out work, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where we rely on consent, for example non-essential cookies, you are free to withdraw that consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their marketing. To run the website and follow up enquiries we use a small number of trusted providers who process information on our behalf: our website host and email provider, so enquiries can be stored and sent to us, and our customer management system, GoHighLevel, so that we can manage your enquiry and contact you about it. These providers only process your information to provide their service to us and are required to keep it secure. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and customer records only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and carry out any work, and afterwards to meet our legitimate business, legal and accounting obligations. We do not keep your information for longer than necessary.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Our website uses cookies as follows.
Essential cookies. These are needed for the website and its security to work, and for the site to remember your cookie choice. They do not track you and cannot be switched off through the banner. This includes a cookie named “clyra_consent” which records whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, and lasts for up to 180 days.
Analytics cookies, only if you accept. With your permission we may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are not set unless you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you choose “Reject”, they are not set.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the corner of the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete, to ask us to delete your information or to restrict or object to how we use it, to ask us to transfer your information where that right applies, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
